“Today’s From Inspiration to Reality is a lesson in the whimsical, the magical, the imaginative. Drawing inspiration from this inspiration board , the Michigan based design team headed up by Tifany of Gourmet Invitations, Misty of Bells and Bliss , Don of Take1 Productions and Hollye Mackler Designs, the goal was to create an enchanted forest filled to the brim with steal worthy ideas and little tidbits of gorgeousness that you can apply to your own wedding. From the firefly lanterns to the moss covered chargers this shoot is anything but ordinary….”

“Anything but ordinary” is something that definitely attracts my attention! I had a blast taking the following pictures of the event!

I’ve not given up on posting, despite the tumbleweed blowing thru my ghost town of a blog these last several months. In fact, I’m working hard to get caught up with wedding and portrait posts from August of last year (yes, you read that correctly) thru the present. For now, here is a little preview for Theresa + Nate, married April 3 amidst rain, wind, and Ann Arbor’s notorious Hash Bash which made for an interesting and fun day. Things may not always go as planned – if they did there would be no such thing as a pleasant surprise.
