I’ve not given up on posting, despite the tumbleweed blowing thru my ghost town of a blog these last several months. In fact, I’m working hard to get caught up with wedding and portrait posts from August of last year (yes, you read that correctly) thru the present. For now, here is a little preview for Theresa + Nate, married April 3 amidst rain, wind, and Ann Arbor’s notorious Hash Bash which made for an interesting and fun day. Things may not always go as planned – if they did there would be no such thing as a pleasant surprise.

As a new Mother you experience a multitude of feelings and among them lurks the feeling of worry. Will I be a good mother? Will I be able to give my child everything they need? Am I making the right decisions? The list goes on and on. While those worries and fears fill our minds, moments of solace, clarity and bliss exist and reveal themselves when our eyes meet those of our children. All the love that ever was and ever will be lives in that very moment. And that is the essence of Motherhood…
