Meghan and Chris were AWESOME on their wedding day and I cannot thank them enough. Megs, who was so incredibly ill with the flu earlier that morning was a sincere trooper. She was up for anything and didn’t let life’s hiccups get her down. Although it did rain that day it cleared up just long enough for their gorgeous outdoor ceremony and again when we stopped off at a local farm for pictures. The gods were certainly looking out for us! And talk about emotional – she and her family are an incredibly tight-knit bunch that shed more tears than I can count (and yes, we shared in a few tearful moments ourselves – the relationship between father and daughter is so incredibly touching that I actually look forward to these moments at every wedding more than any other – shameful, I know).

Dad sees his daughter for the first time on her wedding day. Sigh…the love they share is indescribable.

I could wax poetically for near eternity about Jaime and Bryan but instead I’ll keep this as short as I am capable of (and for those that know me this is truly a task). I get choked up and shed a few tears at nearly every wedding (usually during the ceremony or father/daughter dance) so I stuff kleenex in my gear bag in preparation. However, for this wedding I was completely unprepared. The love these two families share is beyond comprehension. Never have I welled up so much that I was genuinely worried that I could not continue to take photographs. The love and respect Jaime and Bryan have for each other, their family, their friends, and even me reaffirms my faith in the pure goodness of human kind. I am continually blessed with wonderful couples and forever humbled that they have choosen to share one of the most precious days of their lives with me. Thank you, Lindstroms, for allowing me to witness and capture such raw emotion. My life has been forever changed and I can’t thank you enough for the experience.

I was ecstatic when I heard that Wendy and Dave, a former bride and groom, were expecting and I was even more thrilled when they asked me to photograph their new baby boy after his birth. He is simple perfection! He didn’t fuss during our time together and actually managed to catch a few z’s which allowed us to get some of the cutest darned shots. I can’t wait to see him (ok, and his parents too) again very soon. Congratulations you two! You’re so very blessed and I couldn’t be happier for you!!!!

I had the pleasure of working with two ADORABLE little girls, Anna and Grace, who were all giggles and smiles. Anna is such the doting big sister as she looks after her free spirited ‘lil sis Grace in the most precious manner. Both have larger than life personalities and you can’t help but wonder what fantastic things the future has in store for these two beautiful little princesses!
