Wow…Heather and Dan…there is just so much I could say about these two! Their love story began in grade school and I distinctly remember Dan’s brother, Newton, retelling the events of what seems to be Dan’s first move which involved a cupcake baked by his mother that was vehemently refused by Heather on the school’s playground. It seems Dan learned about rejection at a very early age.

I simply cannot tell you in a few words how much I love these two people and their families. From the moment Heather’s Dad and Mom, Kevin and Cherie, came to meet with me in Heather and Dan’s stead it was as if I had known them forever. Walking into their home the day of the wedding Heather’s Dad gave me a huge hug inviting me into their lives on one of the most emotional days in their history as a family. The entire day was filled with laughter and joy and it showed in each and every one of their expressions. To be in their presence was a sincere high – you simply cannot be near these two and not smile from ear to ear. Congrats, you fabulous people, and a huge hug to you and your entire family!!

Christy and Tim met at Detroit Beer Company when Tim worked there for a single (yep, just one) day. Talk about kismet. These two have a fantastic chemistry and share a refreshing sense of humor as well. I can’t tell you how much fun it was to roam the more disgusting parts of Detroit looking for photo ops and I have a newfound appreciation for the distinct smell of a Detroit dumpster. Yowza! Thanks for an awesome time, guys. Now we just need to figure out a way to outdo these photos on your wedding day. Hint, hint. : )

Let me introduce Meghan and Miss Hayley, daughter of Troy and soon to be daughter of Meghan! Meghan and Troy will be wed this November and in searching for the perfect wedding gift she approached me with the idea of having a girl’s session centered around their love for Troy and I was totally on board. They are both so full of spunk and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy getting emails from Meghan. The girl is sharp as a tack and downright comical. I anticipate their wedding to be the same and look forward to laughing with them this winter when they become One Big Happy!
