I have to tell you about this photo because it touched me in ways I cannot truly explain. Meet Rob and Abbey’s grandparents, the longest married couple in their respective families. Upon being announced Grandpa grabbed his wife and gave her the most passionate kiss. Seeing two people this much in love after more than 50 years together not only reinforces every couple’s love for one another, it reminds us that true love really does last…

Erika and David exchanged vows, and a few laughs, at Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills with a spectacular reception at Andiamo Italia, Warren. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this couple or their family and bridal party who are a kind and exceptionally fun bunch. Erika, to no surprise, was a stunning bride. She’s not only insanely accomplished and intelligent, she’s a knockout and even with all these wonderful traits she really is as down to earth and humble as the girl next door. We shared the day with Kristyn of Castle Video and an amazing band whose card I neglected to grab, but I would definitely recommend them (they were fantastic) so I’ll look for their info and post it asap.

Jen and Brian had an absolutely fabulous, romantic December wedding at St. John’s Golf & Conference Center; a gorgeous venue made even more beautiful by hundreds of twinkling lights and elegantly decorated evergeen. Kevin and Kelly from Rent-A-DJ filled the atrium with beautiful music while Chris and Trish of Personal Touch Productions captured all the fun and festivities on video. I also had the pleasure of working with Stacey Shy of Venture Photography today and I can’t wait to see the images she captured. Thank you, Jen and Brian, for sharing your day with us; we hope you have a fantastic holiday and a wonderful honeymoon!

I had a great session with Marni and Brett at Hart Plaza who, despite the brisk wind off the river and chill in the air, laughed and smiled. Brett is a true, chivalrous gentleman and Marni is a classic beauty who reminds me of a Hollywood movie starlet from 30′s…just look at those eyes! I look forward to their Royal Park wedding this coming March! Oh, and I still covet her coat!
