I finally blew the dust off the blog after another busy, busy season. I will be working on posts over the next month or two and I look forward to sharing all of my incredible weddings, sessions, published works, and other fun ‘schtuff’ that have been itching to make it to the Internet.

Recently I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to share in the continuing story of many of our past couples’ whose homes have grown by two feet. I just cannot get enough of these babies!

I am proud to announce that The Shooting Gallery is featured in the 2010 Fall/Winter issue of The Knot Weddings! Lauren and Andrew’s wedding was dubbed one of Michigan’s 15 elegant weddings and we are honored to have captured the photographs. Special thanks to The Knot!

Drawing inspiration from this inspiration board , the Michigan based design team headed up by Tifany of Gourmet Invitations, Misty of Bells and Bliss , Don of Take1 Productions and Hollye Mackler Designs, the goal was to create an enchanted forest filled to the brim with steal worthy ideas and little tidbits of gorgeousness that you can apply to your own wedding. From the firefly lanterns to the moss covered chargers this shoot is anything but ordinary….”

“Anything but ordinary” is something that definitely attracts my attention! I had a blast taking the following pictures of the event!
